Planting Trees with Three Stars Inc. Green Team

 

This was the first idea brainstormed by the team, and one that several committee members came up with at the same time. Planting a tree accomplishes so many of our mission statement´s tenants; it´s a no-brainer. First, since it will be organized by staff members, it will be done as a company. Second, since the funds for the trees will be raised from amongst the employees it energizes individual members of the Three Stars Inc. team. And finally, it will be an event that takes place in full view of the community and hopefully inspire them as well.

The key is to identify areas where each new tree will not only do well for the environment, but also be visible enough for many people in the community to see it everyday and remind them to stay vigilant with their environmental practices.

Not to mention it will be fun to do. Working in an office all week, it´s easy to forget the simple pleasure of toiling outdoors in the sun and fresh air. And when involving the Green Team in that activity, it will be a wonderful reminder to all involved exactly why having a clean Earth is important.
