Three Stars Inc. Green Team Wants to Get Kids Involved

 

The Three Stars Inc. Green Team knows that even as much good as we might accomplish, it´s futile unless we get future generations involved. Therefore, we are assembling materials to distribute to local schools to reach out further into the community and get the kids involved, hoping it will spark a lifelong interest in the environment and trying to protect it.

Habits are formed young. Educating the young now will have the greatest impact on the earth´s environment for the long term. Getting the youth on board the many environmental initiatives outlined earlier, making those simple energy saving techniques habit, will have the largest impact.

But, kids need teachers. Not just the ones in the classroom, but every other adult they come into contact with on a daily basis. Kids pick up more from just watching their parents than any organized lesson at school. So getting their parents to at least talk about and show interest in it will mean that kids will pay heed to the lessons in class a little more. That´s where all of the awareness we´ve built in the community comes into play. As you can see this is a collective effort.
