Three Stars Inc. Offers More Than Three Ways to Greenalize Your Office

Below is a list of things Three Stars Inc. started doing at the office. You´ve probably heard of a few of them, (and if so, why haven´t you implemented them?) You can also do most of these at home, as well.

-Three Stars Inc. supplied green cleaning products for the building cleaning crew to use on our offices and the offices that share the building. Very noble of us, we know.

-Three Stars Inc. looked into and replaced every possible item and process to be eco-friendly. Bought recycled furniture and office supplies. We use recycled toner cartridges and paper, and then recycle it when we´re done. We provide recycling bins in every office. We reuse scraps of paper for meetings, and print on both sides of the paper. In fact, it´s considered taboo to be seen with a blank back!

-Three Stars Inc. provided energy saving light bulbs for the entire building in order to cut costs and save electricity (a lofty and expensive effort maybe, but well worth it).

-Three Stars Inc. instituted a mandatory policy of turning off computers every night and hitting that sleep monitor button while at meetings or lunch.

-Introduced a carpool system for the Three Stars Inc. company football games.

-Three Stars Inc. established the "plug it in" system for appliances. Want to warm up your coffee in the microwave? You´ll have to plug it in first, and then out when you´re done…

-Didn´t get the memo? Then you probably weren´t at your computer. Three Stars Inc. doesn´t print them out anymore, we IM them to the staff.

-Three Stars Inc. has even looked into getting those solar panels on the roof. We don´t own the building, though so that one may take some time.

-Three Stars Inc. decorated our offices with plants, which absorb indoor pollution and make our souls smile.

-Three Stars Inc. collects stamps and milk bottle tops for charity and encourages spectators to do the same.
